Grant Honeyman has been the General Manager of Human Resources for Cambodia and Vietnam since September 2019 following his roles as head of HR for RMA Laos and RMA Myanmar. His current role includes managing HR and Administration for RMAC, EFG Cambodia and Comin Asia entities.


Grant is a Human Resources professional with over 20 years of extensive experience and a record of accomplishment in leading multinational companies like Saab, Toyota, JP Morgan, Westpac Bank. Grant has worked extensively in Australia in addition to roles across the South Pacific region and most recently 7 years in South East Asia.

Laura Cho is a HR practitioner with over a decade of experience and currently serving as a Head of HR in Prudential Myanmar. Prior to this role, she was a Regional Manager overseeing 12 Southeast Asia countries in Hong Kong at Jardine Schindler Group. She worked for several different international organizations such as Schindler, DKSH and AA Corporation. Martin Appel is Head of Human Resources for the Yoma Strategic Holdings (YSH), First Myanmar Investments (FMI) and Serge Pun and Associates (SPA)  Groups. Prior to that he held executive HR roles in Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Honeywell and IBM. Originally from South Africa, Martin has lived and worked in Asia including Singapore, Bangalore, India and Malaysia since December 2000. He is currently based in Yangon, Myanmar.


Martin  graduated from the University of Kwa Zula Natal (formerly the University of Natal), Durban, South Africa with a BA HDE Degree, and from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa with a Bachelor of Education (Hons).

Mi Mi Thet @ Suzanne joined Maha Agriculture Microfinance in July 2020 as Chief People Officer.  She previously was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Yoma Bank for 6.5 years. Prior to that she was with the World Health Organization for 11 years also in the HR field.


She holds a Masters in Human Resources and B.Comm (Management and Marketing) from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia, as well as a B.A English from Dagon University, Yangon, Myanmar and Advanced Diploma is Business Administration from Thames Oxford University, Yangon, Myanmar. Mi Mi Thet was recognized as Human Resources Director of the year at the 2018 Myanmar Employer Awards.

Ngoc joined KBZ MS Myanmar as Head of HR in October 2018 from Aviva Life Insurance Vietnam where she held the role of HR Director and Chief Affinity Officer for more than 7 years.
Prior to that, Ngoc has worked for Vietcombank Cardif Life Insurance and Prevoir Vietnam Life Insurance in Hanoi, Vietnam holding the role of Human Resource Director. Ngoc has more than 14 years of HR management experience specifically in life insurance industry plus 11 years in investment, services and architecture industries. During her HR career, Ngoc managed the human capital of the companies, led various strategic HR projects through key turning points such as merger and acquisition, joint venture, re-structuring, re-shaping of corporate culture and transform the role of HR in organizations she has worked with.

Shubha currently leads the Human Resources function for Jardine Schindler Group since July 2020, a joint venture between Jardine Matheson and Schindler Group. The role is based out of Hong Kong, spans 12 countries and represents a diverse workforce within the enigmatic region of South East Asia.


She has an overall experience of 25 years within Human Resources arena. She has worked with Schindler in India since 1999 when they started their green field operations. She was promoted as the Head – Human Resources in 2004. Over the last 16 years of leading the people agenda at Schindler in India she was instrumental in working closely with the leadership team to establish Schindler India as a market leader in its domain.
