HOW DO I ENTER?

Firstly, please download and complete the awards entry form. You'll be able to download it from the Participate menu on this website when applications open. 

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES I CAN SUBMIT?

You may submit as many entries for a person or organisation for as many award categories as you wish.

WHAT IS THE ENTRY FEE?

To complete your application, each HR and Special Recognition category is US120 and individual awards are US85. Contact the awards team to discuss payment methods.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER I'VE SUBMITTED MY ENTRIES?

Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your entries as well as a payment invoice.

What follows is that the entries will be processed by the awards panel team for shortlisting & judging.

Judging will take place in October and our finalists will be announced in November.

CAN I MAKE ANY CHANGES TO MY ENTRIES AFTER I'VE SUBMITTED THE APPLICATION?

We regret that no change requests will be accepted .Kindly ensure that your entries are final and confirmed before proceeding to submission.

IF OUR ORGANIZATION SPONSORS THE MYANMAR EMPLOYER AWARDS; CAN WE STILL COMPETE IN THE AWARD PROGRAM?

​Yes you can. The Myanmar Employer Awards judging is a completely separate process  and is managed by an independent panel of judges of whom have no conflict of interest or undisclosed association with the Myanmar Employer Awards event.  Brands choose to sponsor the Myanmar Employer Awards campaign in order to further enhance their brand awareness among the campaign's target audience. 

WHAT IS THE MYANMAR EMPLOYER AWARDS JUDGING PROCESS?

The judging process consists of two stages, the initial shortlisting judging and the final judging. The shortlisting process is taken out by a panel of judges, with a minimum of five separate judges assessing each and every application.

 

The final judging takes place in a single day in mid-October with over fifteen international and local judges. The judges are allocated a full day to judge the shortlisted applications. This judging day is done under the guidance and auditing of Deloitte Myanmar. The results are then audited and confidentially reserved by Deloitte until the Myanmar Employer Awards Gala night.

HOW DO YOU PROVIDE LEGITIMACY AND A FAIR JUDGING PROCESS?

The Myanmar Employer Awards endeavors to employ judges of only the highest caliber and applicable experience to the HR industry. We carefully handpick a panel of international judges who are not only regarded as thought leaders in the industry but also whom have no previous engagement to business undertaken in Myanmar. In regards to the local judges, there are stringent guidelines in place to eliminate any conflicts of interest. Local judges may NOT assess any applications under the following circumstances;

 

  • An organization in which they are currently employed, contracting or consulting.

  • An organization in which they have been employed, contracted or consulted for within the past twenty-four months.

  • An organization that is in direct competition with the judge’s current employment, contract or consultation assignment.

  • An organization which shares the same industry with the judge’s current employment, contract or consultation assignment.

  • An organization in which an immediate family member is employed, contracting or consulting (i.e. spouse, children, parent etc.)

WHAT IS JOBNET.COM.MM'S ROLE IN THE MYANMAR EMPLOYER AWARDS?

The Myanmar Employer Awards is an independent awards program. Jobnet.com.mm is involved solely in an event organizational and support role. Jobnet will not have any direct or indirect involvement or influence on the judging candidates, the judging process or the resulting outcome of the Myanmar Employer Awards.
